Being in nature is the best way to charge my batteries – either hiking, running or walking in the woods. I love the freedom and independence of wild camping with care for the environment.

My job is to assure that we inspire, guide and fully support our PhDs, so that they can focus entirely on the creative side of their work. This is when the magic happens.

You can join me at almost any sports field, yoga class, or beautiful nature trip. We can enjoy good live music, or have the most delicious weekend brunch ever. Call me if you need a tour guide in Sofia.

I am driven by lifelong learning and my passion belongs to education.

I strive to get to know the students' dissertation topics and give constant and frequent feedback. My work gives me the opportunity to connect personally with many PhDs who become my friends in the end.

I am a sea person and can be found on the beaches of the Black Sea, most often in sunny Varna. I also love giving my time as a volunteer, and I am proud to be part of the NGO "JCI Varna" where we develop leadership skills in a non-formal environment.

My job is to supervise the PhD students from an academic point of view. I help them form the right research questions and hypotheses, as well as choosing the most suitable research methods. I also guide them on how to successfully develop the Concepts and the Basics of their dissertation works.

In earlier years, and 50 kilograms lighter, I was a good runner. Nowadays, I enjoy reading nice books in my rather sparse free time. Besides that, I like blogging.

I love working according to the motto “We rise by lifting others!” and being a mutual mentor and mentee for my coworkers but also an adorable friend. That’s what makes work fun and what gives me lots of opportunities and creative ideas.

I am energetic like the “Drumming Bunny” - it is all about running, rock climbing, hiking etc. and spending time with my family and friends. I am growing my freelance business and doing charitable work.

My main task is to assist our PhDs as a scientific sparring partner in the conception and planning of their PhD project. In doing so, I accompany our German-speaking students in the early stages of the program with individual support, but also as a critical voice.

Away from work, you won't find me with a book, but with my wife on the couch watching documentaries or playing sports. I also enjoy time in our garden and with friends on the weekend.

I am responsible for organising the legal & commercial communication related to the PhD programme, as well as providing a comprehensive administrative support to the new applicants. Together with my colleagues, I try to bring the necessary clarity, order and focus to all the PhDs who join us.

I am very much interested in culture, so I like going to museums and concerts. My love of nature inspire me to spend time hiking or doing day trips with my friends & family.

I do my best to help others achieve their goals. Enabling people succeed in something they are passionate about is really satisfying. Aristotle said that ”The roots of education are bitter, but the fruits are sweet”. I play my part in making the journey to the sweet fruits as enjoyable as possible.

I love how sports bring people together, just like education. So in my free-time you can find me playing football, tennis, or just going for a run. Besides sports, I love to spend quality time with my girlfriend and with my friends.
