All our doctoral programmes are accredited on the Bologna Level 3 - the third cycle of higher education under the European Bologna Process. By graduating one of our programmes, you earn a doctoral degree that meets European standards for a full doctorate and is recognised as such worldwide. This is the highest level of academic achievement in a given field and qualify the holder to teach at university level or work in specific professions.
To be admitted, you must hold a Master's degree or an equivalent qualification at EQF Level 7, which grants access to doctoral studies according to European higher education standards. Also, you need to provide a research proposal following our template. For more details, visit the dedicate page of you preferred programme.
You are free to propose a research topic of your choice as part of your research proposal. The topic will be then reviewed and further discussed with you to ensure it fits within the scope of the accredited programmes. Minor adjustments may be made, provided they do not change the core focus of your research.
All our programmes follow clear, transparent stages. You will begin by developing a research concept (proposal), then draft the first 50 pages of your dissertation. Afterward, you’ll complete your dissertation alongside other programme tasks such as assignments and scientific publications. Throughout, you will receive close guidance from your personal mentor. For more details, visit the dedicate page of you preferred programme.
Upon graduation, you will be awarded a Diploma with the highest educational and scientific degree - "Doctor" (Dr.). In countries where permitted, you may officially use this title in your personal documents. The Diploma is issued by our partner university - the state University of Library Studies and Information Technologies (ULSIT), with more than 75 years history, a highly graded institutional accreditation within the EU, and a rich research activity worldwide.
Yes, all our programmes are designed to provide this flexibility, allowing you to conduct your research fully remotely and at your own pace. Success depends on your personal time management and priorities, making it possible to balance work and doctoral studies.
